Thomas Roy Wilhelms

Thomas Roy Wilhelms, age 59, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on January 24, 1959, in Fond du Lac, the son of William and Delores (Kramer) Wilhelms. Tom married Jill Cyrus on May 28, 2016 in Fond du Lac. Tom’s first wife Sharon Sabel, the mother of his children, preceded him in death on June 22, 2014. Tom was currently the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity for Fond du Lac County. Tom was involved with the EAA, Friends of the NRA, Izaak Walton League and the membership coordinator there, Lighthouse Anglers at Walleye Weekend, Tom and his wife Jill co-founded Feeding the Forces, he was very active with the American Legion family, and he was a member of Holy Family.



Survivors include his wife Jill of Fond du Lac; four children, Nathan (Tracy) Wilhelms of Brandenburg, KY, Brian (Lydia) Wilhelms of Fond du Lac, Laura Wilhelms of Fond du Lac, Anne Wilhelms of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Alexa, Aiden, Ethan, Riley Mae, and Jackson Wilhelms, Colton and Kennedy Blawat of Slinger, WI; step-children, Ryan (Lindsay) Niddel of Columbus, OH, Chrissy (Brent) Blawat of Slinger, WI; his brother, Jim (Donna) Wilhelms of Fond du Lac; and many other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sharon; and one brother, John.



Visitation will take place on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Private family burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
