Thomas “Tom” Willard Wagner, 64, formerly of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2018, at his home in Houston, Texas.
He was born on October 14, 1954, in Fond du Lac, the son of Donald E. and Eileen B. (Smith) Wagner. Tom’s life included being in the Boy Scouts early in life. He enjoyed camping, music, hiking, and back packing all over the United States. Following graduating from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1974, Tom became a great chef on Nantucket Island.
Later in life, he was an artist, creating beautiful dream catchers and jewelry. He loved cooking creative meals for his friends, playing cards, and socializing with all his neighbors. Tom was a very kind and gentle man to all who met him. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.
Tom is survived by two sisters, Darleen “DoBee” Kobs (Dave) of Fond du Lac, WI, and Kitty Scherer (Rick), of Sheboygan Falls, WI; one goddaughter, Jennifer Scherer, of Madison, WI; one uncle, Richard Smith, of Woodruff, WI; and cousins Nancy, Julie, and Angie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Eileen; maternal and paternal grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, from 11-11:45 AM at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:45 AM. Burial will follow the service in Ledgeview Memorial Park.
