Timothy J. Jerdee

Timothy J. Jerdee, 39, of Fond du Lac, met his Savior on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, as a result of a car accident. Tim was born in Fond du Lac on January 6, 1973, the son of Thomas Jerdee and Cheryl Smith. On May 15, 1993, he married Sarah Cuppan at St. Peter's Lutheran Church where he also became a member.As a loving father to his four children he was always involved in their activities. He coached both basketball and football and was a coach for the Junior Winnebago Vikings for seven years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family as well as riding his motorcycle. Tim was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need without being asked. As an example of this is that prior to his death, he had his head and eyebrows shaved for Make-A-Wish-Foundation. He was a professional painter and auto-body mechanic and a valued employee at Advantage Refrigeration.He is survived by his dearly loved children Zachariah, Danae', Breanna, and Dillon, all at home, as well as his ex-wife Sarah, and his children's half-sister MaKenna. Further survivors include his brother Ben Berg of Hawaii, his sister Casey ( Mike ) Chrysler, his fraternal grandmother Helen Jerdee, his aunt Patricia Jerdee, his step-mother Peggy Jerdee, and his step-father, Michael Holmes; all of Fond du Lac. He also leaves behind his in-laws, Bruce and Else Cuppan of Fond du Lac, his brothers-in-law Steve Cuppan of Markesan, and David Cuppan of Fond du Lac. Additional survivors include his uncles Loren (special friend Denise) Smith, Darryl (special friend, Julie) Smith, Eddie Smith, an aunt, Leatrice McGuire, all of Fond du Lac, as well his nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandparents, Merle and Shirley Smith, his grandfather Lyle Jerdee, and his uncle, Harold Smith.



Visitation: The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 26th, 2012, from 3 to 7pm at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac, and again on Monday, August 27th, from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Funeral services will be at 11AM at the church on Monday. The Rev. Matthew Guse will officiate.
