Trace Ronald Hoover

Trace Ronald Hoover of Fond du Lac, WI, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the age of 26. He is loved by an infinite amount of people and his passing has affected many. Trace is survived by his wife, Alexa Roth; his mother, Angela Roberts; his father, Jeremy Hoover; his siblings, Nick Thompson, Matt (Jenna) Piortrzkowski, Alyshia (Dave) Reynolds (Thompson), Frankie Hoover, Cheyenne Hoover, Zack Thompson, Logan Thompson, Devin Thompson, and Wyatt Thompson; his grandparents Ronald Roberts, Raymond Hoover; his aunts and uncles, David (Patti) Roberts, Kristina (Shawn) Huber (Hoover); his godparents, Denny and Elaine Schabel; his best friends, Luckie Cha and Zac Smet; his nieces and nephews; and many others who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal great-grandparents; and maternal grandma, Joan Roberts (Schabel).

Anyone who knew Trace knew he would do anything to make a joke. He was a strong-willed Eagle Scout, a dedicated Army Veteran, and a hard-working full-time employee and student. Trace was an accomplished young man. Trace enjoyed dressing up and attending anime conventions, spending time with friends and family playing board games, reading books, and sitting around the fire with a cold Summer Shandy in hand

Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life for Trace with all of his favorite board games and card games for everyone to enjoy will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Charlies Banquet Hall and Pub, 1348 Wisconsin Ave, North Fond du Lac, WI, 54937.
