Valeria S. Moon

Valeria S. Moon, 88, died Wednesday, April 16, 2015 at the Liberty House in Fond du Lac. She was born in Fond du Lac on April 21, 1926, a daughter of Harold and Olive (Sabel) Ebling. On April 20, 1946, she married Victor H. Moon in Iowa. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1977.



Her passions in life were children and animals. She was a woman with a sweet, pure spirit who always put others first and who will be missed greatly by her family.



Valeria is survived by five children; Diane (Jerry) Steger of Mayville, Karen (Barry) Dukes of Santa Rosa, CA, Vickie (Denis Hauser) Moon of Greenbush, Carol (James LaFleur) Moon of Portage and Michael of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bruce, 2 brothers and 7 sisters.



Visitation for Valeria will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Service will follow the visitation at 11:30 AM with Rev. Jim Wehrheim presiding. Private family burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac.



A memorial has been established in Valeria’s name.
