Verena R. Conaboy

Verena R. Conaboy, 96, formerly of 15 N. Marr Street, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was born May 28, 1910, in St. Cloud, the daughter of Joseph and Cecilila Goeser Ditter. On August 19, 1939, she married Francis Conaboy at St. Louis Church. He preceded her in death in 1948. Mrs. Conaboy was a member of Holy Family Parish.Surviving are two sisters, Marie Smith of Hazelhurst, WI, and Valeria (Frank) Keifenheim of St. Cloud, WI, a brother, Wilfred "Pete" (Dorothy) Ditter of Dotyville, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, two sisters, Hilda O'Malley and Sister Alberta Ditter O.S.F., and three brothers, Clem, Norbert, and William "Bill" Ditter preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Verena R. Conaboy will be on Saturday, December 2, 2006, from 9 to 11 am at St. Joseph's Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Saturday at the church. The Rev. Dennis Budka of Holy Family Parish will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
