Verna L. Beason

Verna L. Beason, age 95, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 19, 1911 in Cambridge, WI the daughter of Perry and Daisy (Wardell) Saunders. She graduated from Edgerton High School. On October 20, 1950 she married Leo Beason in Madison, WI. Verna was a member of Community United Methodist Church in North Fond du Lac, she was also a member in the Royal Neighbors, Sunshine Girls, and the North Fond du Lac Senior Center. Verna worked of a Madison attorney, Arthur May and was secretary for the Madison City Planning Department from 1957-1971. Her and her husband moved to Fond du Lac when he began working for Giddings and Lewis. SURVIVORS: two daughters, Kay Ward and Joanne Kuske, six grandchildren, three great-granddaughters, one brother, Richard of Deerfield, WI, and sisters in law, Jackie Saunders and Dorothy Gunderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Beason who died March 7, 1978, brother, Allen Saunders, and one sister, Lilah Carey.



VISITATION: Friday, July 28, 2006 from 10-11 A.M. at Community United Methodist Church, 701 Minnesota Ave, North Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Friday, July 28, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Community United Methodist Church with the Reverend Kyochul Shin officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorials appreciated to All About Life for activities or Community United Methodist Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
