Verna L. Herrmann

Verna L. Herrmann, age 62 of N8861 Mallard Lane, died Monday February 23, 2009 at her home. She was born on February 1, 1947 in Madison, Indiana the daughter of John F. and Helen J. Whedon LaMar. On May 18, 1996 she married Eugene "Gene" J. Herrmann in Fond du Lac. Verna worked at Madison State Hospital, Madison, Indiana as a medical transcriptionst for 16 years. Later she drove truck with her husband to the West Coast for 7 years. She enjoyed drawing, crocheting, and volunteering with the Salvation Army.SURVIVORS: include her husband, Eugene "Gene" Herrman, Fond du Lac, one son Ron (Cheryl) LaMar, Scottsburg, IN, two daughters Angela Burris, PA, and Kathy Kerr, Armstrong, one grandson, Logan LaMar, Scottsburg, IN, four step-children, one sister June LaMar, St. Petersburg, FL. Verna was preceded in death by her parents.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Joseph Coerber officiating.
