Verna L. Kluball

Verna Lea (Hills) Kluball, 89, of Fond du Lac, entered her eternal rest in Christ on August 13, 2022. Verna was born in Fond du Lac to Ralph and Viola Hills on April 24, 1933. She was baptized as an infant and confirmed in her youth at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. She was married to Delmar Kluball on July 13, 1957, in Milwaukee. For many years she was a full-time homemaker. She later worked in the Kohl’s Deli, managed a bridal shop, and started a business, The Kid’s Room, a retail store in Menomonee Falls. Verna was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac.



Verna is survived by daughter, Nancy Mischke of Minnetonka, MN; son, Delmar (Betty) of Tomah; son, Pastor Gary (Diana) of Clifton Park, NY; daughter, Lisa Mackenzie of Milwaukee; daughter, Jenny (Mark Brannin) of Kalispell, MT; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, her husband, her grandson, Benjamin Mischke, her son-in-law, Pastor Philip Mischke, and her daughter, Karin.



Christian Funeral and Committal will be held at Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac, WI on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Pastor Michael Kampman of St. Paul’s Lutheran will preside at the services.
