Verna L. Liegl

Verna L. Liegl, 89 a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past 6 years, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the nursing home. She was born on August 16, 1923 in the Town of Osceola the daughter of Leslie and Lavinia Conger Jagdfeld.SURVIVORS: Verna is survived by her five children, Richard (Shirley) Liegl, Fond du Lac, Joseph (Janet) Liegl, Chapel Hill, NC, Susan (John) Shafer, Rosendale, Lavinia (Hal) Draves, Oakfield, and Melvin (Cindi) Liegl, Grafton, ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Aaron Draves and one sister Thelma Ryan.At Verna's request private family memorial services will at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Cremation has taken place.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Hospice Hope or Salvation Army."The family would like to extend special thanks to the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home and staff for their excellent care given to their mother, Verna while she was a resident."Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
