Vernon A. Greshamer, age 73, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services. He was born on September 6, 1942 in New London, the son of Kenneth and Eva (Loomis) Greshamer. Vern always loved making people laugh and was a very social and caring person. He was a friend to many. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He was past Quartermaster and President of the Booster Club for the Marquis Drum and Bugle Corps. His grandchildren were the joy of his life and he will be greatly missed.
SURVIVORS: one daughter, Amber (John) Ferrarelli of Fond du Lac and their children Abigail and John D; one son, Andrew (Sarah) Greshamer of Waupun and their children Eli and Eva; two sisters, Betty Welton of Oshkosh, Jean (Hugh) Butler of Anderson, SC; sister in law, Goldie Greshamer of New London; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, David, and Leon; two sisters, Carol Radley and Mary Wilke.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 10-11 A.M. at Cornerstone Worship Center, 154 W. McWilliams St, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Cremation has taken place.
