VICTOR F. "BAKE" BAKERVictor F. Baker, age 89 of 377 N. 3rd Street, Fond du Lac died Thursday September 15, 2005 at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1916 in Chilton, WI the son of Frank and Frances Mueller Baker. He married Maleda C. Mischo on May 20, 1944 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, WI. Victor worked as an auto mechanic for Homan Auto Parts for 30 years. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and harmonica, fixing, driving motorcycles and cars. He enjoyed being with his family.Survivors: wife Maleda of Fond du Lac, five Children, Sandra (Tom) Lemiesz of Fond du Lac, Gary (Yvonne) Baker of Fond du Lac, and Daniel Baker of Minneapolis, MN. Bruce Baker of Fond du Lac, and Linda (Bob) Karl of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, seven grandchildren, Tom (Fiancé Karen Fox) Lemiesz, Jeff Lemiesz, Christopher (Keetra) Baker, Cory (Wendy) Baker, Luke (Sunny) Rekve, Jacob Baker, and Travis (Laura Lee) Baker, nine great grandchildren, Georgia and Riley Baker, Austin, Trevin, Drake, Aiden, Sadee, Graycee, Jonah, one sister, Marie Bye of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.



Visitation will be held on Sunday September 18, 2005 from 3 to 6 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word Service will be at 6 pm at the Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Capriolo officiating. Private Family Entombment will take place at Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum on Monday. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
