Victoria A. Bacon

Victoria A. Bacon, 85, formerly of 336 S. Military Rd. and currently a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center died Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the home. Victoria was born July 28, 1918 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Arthur and Bertha Appel Wolf. On May 27, 1950 she married John R. Bacon in Fond du Lac. Victoria worked at a glove factory and Wells Manufacturing prior to her marriage. She was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ, taught Sunday school there, and sang in the choir. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Survivors include two sons; Terry Bacon of Fond du Lac and William (JoAnne) Bacon of Texas, three grandsons, one granddaughter, two sisters; Ruth Cleveland and Evelyn Abitz, both of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.



Visitation for Mrs. Bacon was held on Saturday, May 22, 2004 from 3-4 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Weikel and Rev. Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will be at Estabrook Cemetery.The staff of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
