Virginia A Bird

Virginia A. Bird, age 92, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend. She was born on November 6, 1923 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Felix and Ida (Eaton) Resop. On November 22, 1941 she married Raymond L. Bird at St. Louis Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1994. She worked at Wells Badger Industries.



SURVIVORS: two sons, William (Kathleen) Bird of Jackson, WI, and Raymond (Shirley) Bird of Custer, WA; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond; one daughter Virginia E. Roberts; five brothers; and two sisters.



Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will also take place on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery.
