Virginia L. Wiegert

Virginia L. Wiegert, 79, of W3077 4th Street Road, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at ManorCare Health Facility where she was a resident for the past three years. She was born February 9, 1927 in King, WI, the daughter of George and Cora (Austin) Stelter. On February 18, 1950 she married Edsel A. Wiegert at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac, officiated by Rev. Karl Koehler Sr. Virginia was a graduate of Waupaca High School. She was employed by Boulay's Feed Mill, Wellen's Insurance of Fond du Lac and later worked with her husbands dairy farm operation. She was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. She enjoyed bingo at the nursing home, square dancing and polkas, Country music and line dancing. She belonged to the Lakeside Twirler's Square Dance Club and The Ripon Twirler's. She loved animals and raising calves. Survivors include her husband Edsel Wiegert, her daughter Leasa (Jim) Lefeber of Fond du Lac. Three step grandchildren: Tammy, Tracy, Tyler, Four step great grandchildren-Taylor, Kyle, Adam, Austin. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Joann Johnson, her mother and father in-law Ida and Arden Wiegert. 2 brother in-laws, Phillip Hasch, Herbert Johnson.



Visitation for Virginia will be on Thursday April 20, 2006 from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 21, 2006 at 11:00 am at Church of Peace-United Church of Christ with the Rev. Virginia Pych and Rev. Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
