Virginia M. Deitte

Virginia M. Deitte, 95, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 6, 1920, the daughter of William and Kathryn Maher Thomm. Virginia graduated in 1938 from North Fond du Lac High School. On June 28, 1941 she married Robert Deitte at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. They were married for 72 years before Robert preceded her in death on June 1, 2013. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and Daughters of Isabella. Virginia enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking, having all holidays at their home with family, traveling and casinos.



She is survived by her grandson, Michael Leu; great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Donna Burton; brother-in-law, Jim Ransom; dear friends, Martin and Jane Kraus and Roy and Mickey Eggers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Sharon Leu; grandson, Mark Leu; two brothers; sister-in-law, Marlene Ransom; and brother-in-law, Carlton Burton.



At Virginia’s request there will be no visitation or service. Private burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
