Virginia M. Meier

Virginia M. Meier, 80 of 380 Maple Avenue, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on October 30, 1930 in Sheboygan, WI the daughter of John and AliceForesberg Lambert. Virginia worked for the Boone County, Illinois Health Department for 30 years as an assistant administrator. She volunteered at St. Agnes Hospital and the Senior Out-reach Program in Fond du Lac. She was an avid bowler.SURVIVORS: She is survived by a daughter; Michele (James Jr.) Mathews, Oakfield, and one son John "Jack" (Cindy) Meier, St. Charles, Missouri, five grandchildren; Jordan, Alyssa BrosiJason, Jared, and Elizabeth Meier. Virginia is further survived by her sister; Marilyn Smith, Des Moines, Iowa and Virginia's former husband Walter (Joan) Meier, Oakfield. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.
