Virginia M. Michels

The Lord called Virginia Michels to her eternal home on Monday, March 14, 2011 at St. Francis Home. She was born on August 9, 1919 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Christ L. and Gertrude (Lefeber) Michels. She was a 1938 graduate of St. Mary's Springs. She was employed as a bookkeeper at the Northern Casket Co. for sixteen years and Deputy Clerk in Circuit Court of Fond du Lac County for twenty-three years. Virginia was a member of Holy Family Parish and the altar society and attended St. Mary's Church. She was a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital. Virginia was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed traveling to other countries.SURVIVORS: cousins, Bernetta Michels, Ambrose Entringer, Marie Schneider, Antonia Sippel, Marina Voelker, Dorothy Kraus, Leora Salchert, Marion Feldner, Rose Mary Dreifuerst, Lucile Lefeber, Leander Lefeber, Jim Lefeber, Joe Lefeber, and Harold Lefeber. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Edgar, a sister Loretta, and an infant sister.



VISITATION: Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 1-2 P.M. at St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett St, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Francis Home Chapel with Fr. Vernon Wagner OFM Cap. officiating.
