Virginia Mae Kairis

Virginia has passed away peacefully on January 18, 2016. She was fourth born of 7 children on July 9, 1922. Her long life was filled with hardships and happiness. She was a kind, loving, and strong individual. Her stamina was inspirational. Throughout her life she worked many jobs from farming to factory nurse's office. Her thoughts and kind actions were always putting others before herself. She was known to pay special attention to those less fortunate. Many friends and family have passed before her (Claude, Mabel, Frank, La Verne, and Lawrence, Clemens, Rose and countless others).



She has left behind many others who will remain in her shadow of fond memories. She will be especially missed by her daughter Darlene Green, her grandchildren Joshua Green (Heather), Jessica Green (Ben) and her surviving sisters Grace Bates and Margaret Mathwig . Her sister, Margie, passed away just hours after Virginia. (on the same day)



Visitation will take place on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935 from 4-8 P.M. Private family services will take place on Saturday and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.



Special thanks must be given to everyone at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for providing "Ginny" quality of life care in her final days on earth. The nurses, CNA's and activity staff provided her with dignity and acceptance that allowed her to flourish. Loving gratitude is also extended to Heartland Hospice Care who provided her with 24 hour love and attention for her every health and happiness need. These caretakers are angels on earth and we thank God for them.



Memorials will be directed to Heartland Hospice Care.
