Virginia V. Mcdermott

Virginia V. McDermott, 83, of 89 North Boardman Street, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac. She was born the daughter of Gregor and Josephine Bingen Meyer on July 11, 1923 in Fond du Lac. Virginia was a member of Holy Family Parish "“ St. Mary's Church. She worked for Well's Manufacturing for 37 years retiring in 1983. She enjoyed spending time at both the Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac Senior Centers. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, doing puzzles, collecting beanie babies and most of all spending time with her family.SURVIVORS: two sons, Thomas McDermott (special friend Sue Olson), David (Mary) McDermott, both of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Angie (Matthew) Yohann, Berlin, WI, Logan McDermott, Kelsey McDermott, both of Fond du Lac; 2 great grandchildren, Alexus and Gage Yohann; one sister, Lucille Goldapske, Kaukauna, WI; two sisters-in-law, Ann Meyer, Fond du Lac, Patricia Martin, Florida; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Howard and Gerald.



VISITATION: will be from3 "“6 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Liturgy of the Word service will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Private family burial will be held on Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the Hospice Home of Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
