Vivian S. Barthuly

Vivian S. Barthuly, 85, of 517 Luco Road, died February 20, 2008, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born January 23, 1923, in Lomira, the daughter of Clarence F. and Minnie B. Schultz Friese. On December 7, 1946, she married Otto A. Barthuly at the Church of Peace. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1994. She was a member of the Church of Peace since moving to Fond du Lac in 1946. Vivian. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was loved by everyone and would immediately would form a special bond with all those that knew her. She enjoyed sewing, upholstering, and some woodworking projects. Vivian was an avid lover of dogs and birds. Surviving is a son, Larry (Barbara) Barthuly of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Linda (Michael) Riegert of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Sarah (Chad) Immel of New Berlin, Joshua (Penny) Barthuly of Rosendale, Marissa (Sean) Barthuly-Smith of Pipe, and Delraye Barthuly of Fond du Lac, and Clinton (Special Friend Nicole Koch) and Alexander Riegert of Fond du Lac and three great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and a great- granddaughter, Jenna Marie Barthuly preceded her in death



Visitation for Mrs. Vivian S. Barthuly will be on Monday, February 25, 2008, from 9 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 am at the funeral home on Monday. The Rev. Jennifer Dawson will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mrs. Barthuly's name.
