Wallace Paul Kowalske, 80, of 313 S. National Avenue, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 18, 1928 in Fond du Lac, the son of Paul H. and Marie L. Jasperson Kowalske. On June 3, 1950 he married Leona VanNorman at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad in the Stores Department for 44 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was stationed at Midway and Pearl Harbor after the war. He was instrumental in starting the Soo Line Credit Union in North Fond du Lac, holding offices and was an active member for 25 years. He loved his country, was very proud of being in the service, enjoyed trout fishing, woodworking, driving through Lakeside Park and loved his family. SURVIVORS: his wife, Leona, Fond du Lac; one son, Paul Alan Kowalske, Oshkosh; two grandchildren, Zachery and Payton; one brother, Rodney (Farrell) Kowalske, Fond du Lac; one sister-in-law, Donna Kowalske, Kingman, AZ. VISITATION: the family will receive friends from 5 "“7 PM Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev.
