Walter S. "Scotty" Williams

Walter "Scotty" S.Williams, III, 60, of 202 East Rees Street, Fond du Lac, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born on the son of Walter S. and Ida M. Nichols Williams on September 15, 1946 in Oshkosh. In 1966, Walter married Laurel A. Uebele in Oshkosh. In 1986 he married Kathy Dobson in North Fond du Lac. He worked for Mercury Marine for 35 years retiring in 2004. He was a lifetime member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, a devoted Packer fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. SURVIVORS: one son, Walter Williams, IV, Oshkosh; three grandchildren, Walter V, age 9, Julia, age 6, Emma, age 4; two brothers, Edward (Pat) Williams, Springfield, MO and Steve Williams, Ontario, Canada. He is further survived by his ex-wives, Laurel Williams and Kathy Dobson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Lisa.



At Walter's request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Walter's life will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Fond du Lac Eagle's Club from 3:30 "“ 8 PM.The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Cheryl Millay and Chuck Apple for all of their love and support for Scotty.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
