Wanda Y. Zielicke

Wanda Y. Zielicke, 59, of Mt. Calvary, died Monday, September 4, 2023 in Kenai, Alaska.  She was born February 4, 1964 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Warren and Valanee (Tew) Jagow.  She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1983.  On October 10, 1987 she married Theodore M. Zielicke at Lighthouse Christian Church. 

Wanda was a jeweler for 17 years at CW Smith Jewelers.  Wanda was an active member of Lighthouse Christian Church where she led the meal ministry, was a former Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.  Family and faith were so important to her, and she took care of everyone around her.  She enjoyed her flower gardens, feeding the birds, hiking, skiing, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and traveling with family and friends.  Wanda’s laugh brought rays of sunshine to those around her and she made every effort to help everyone enjoy each day. 

She is survived by her husband, Ted; son, Jeremiah (Elise) Zielicke of Madison; daughter -in-law, Cholena Zielicke of Madison; two brothers, David (Annette) Jagow and Al Jagow; sister-in-law, Nancy Jagow; mother-in-law, Melody Zielicke; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Joshua Zielicke and Jacob Zielicke; two brothers, Randy Jagow and Louis Jagow; and father-in-law, Daniel Zielicke.

The visitation will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 S National Avenue in Fond du Lac from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at church.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lighthouse Christian Church.  Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
