Wayne L. Belanger, 81, of 133 Guindon Boulevard, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Milwaukee on February 17, 1930 the son of Francis "Frank" and Dorothy Koenig Belanger. On August 22, 1952 he married Dolores E. Werch in Waukegan, IL. Wayne worked for The Milwaukee Road for over 40 years. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Wayne enjoyed antique cars, fishing, hunting, and collecting antiques. He was a member of the Antique Car Club. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Wayne is survived by his wife, Dolores Belanger, Fond du Lac; three children, Corrin Cornelius, Fond du Lac, Michelle (James) Dais, Fond du Lac, and Brian Belanger, Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren, Angela Pieper, Matthew (special friend, Rebecca Holzmann) Dais, Michael (fiancé, Jill Snortum) Dais, Alicia Dais, James (Andrea) Anderson, Janelle (fiancé, Josh Lauck) Anderson, Heather (Keith) Fauska, Brenda (Brent) Peterson, Brooke (fiancé, Jeremy Cumberland) Belanger; six great grandchildren, Zoey, Riley, Alexandria, Isabella, Vienna, Owen. He is further survived by his mother, Dorothy Klingbile, Appleton; one sister, Janet (Greg) Zurn, Weston; one brother, Lee (Janet) Belanger, Hortonville; special friends, Eldon Odekirk, Fond du Lac and Kathy (Dave)Hoddel, Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis; one brother, Rev. Roland Belanger.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10 "“ 11 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Farina officiating. Burial will take place in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorials are appreciated to Salem United Methodist Church.The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Aurora Home Care and Hospice for their care and compassion.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
