Wayne V. Wollersheim, 54, of 412 Grove Street, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, August 12, 2006 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born the son of Clarence P. and Mathilda M. Baumgartner Wollersheim on October 7, 1951 in Fond du Lac. He attended Goodrich High School and was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Louis Catholic Church. On August 7, 1976 Wayne married Ruth Ann Crook at St. Paul's Cathedral, Fond du Lac. Wayne worked at Damrow for a number of years and ISI 7 years until he became ill with cancer in 2003. He loved and was an avid woodworker for all his life. He adored and loved his whole family and especially his grandchildren. SURVIVORS: his wife, Ruth Wollersheim; two sons, Preston Crook, special friend Mary, Beaver Dam, Jason Wollersheim, Fond du Lac; one daughter, April Wollersheim, special friend Kevin, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Whitney and Cody Crook, Corey Streblow and Kiersten Wollersheim; three brothers, John (Bette) Wollersheim, Allenton, Ken Wollersheim, special friend Linda, and Don (Sue) Wollersheim, all of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by his father-in-law, Don Crook, Fond du lac; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Ruth Crook.
VISITATION: The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 from 9-11 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Budka officiating. Cremation has taken place.In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to St. Agnes Hospice Hope or Wisconsin Cancer Center.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
