Wilfred Colin Moore

Wilfred Colin Moore, age 91, of Fond du Lac, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at St Agnes Hospital. He was born on March 2, 1926 in Ironwood, MI, the son of James and Mary (Garvey) Moore. Wilfred served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific from 1943-46. He was married to Gerry Lee Johnson for thirty-three years. He worked for JF Ahern until retiring in 1986.



Survivors include his wife Gerry Lee Moore of Fond du Lac; one son, Dave (Rini); two daughters, Nancy (James) Deluhery, and Shannon (Wayne) Kemnitz. Also surviving are two step-daughters, JoAnn and Joleen; one step-granddaughter, Taren; one brother, Donald Moore; two sisters, Dolores Fincke, and Elizabeth Moore; a favorite sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bev and Floyd Wendt; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David; one sister, Mary.



Upon his request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place.
