William E. Babcock

William E. Babcock, 78, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1946 in Fond du Lac, the son of Lawrence and Lorraine (Haensgen) Babcock. On June 30, 1984 he married Linda Luoma and she preceded him in death on November 5, 2020. William worked for Rueping Leather and UW Oshkosh until his retirement. He enjoyed All Star Wrestling, photography, watching football, going out to eat, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Tina Rodriguez and Cathy (Tony) Immel; two grandchildren, Brianna and Caleb Immel; three siblings, Donna Warner, Lawrence Babcock, and Robert (Mary Jane) Babcock; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda.

 A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
