William “Bill” W. Ebling, 70, of Fond du Lac, died December 5, 2022, at SSM Health - St Agnes Hospital. He was born on February 16, 1952, in Fond du Lac, the son of Urban and Vera (Conlan) Ebling. On June 30, 1979, he married Jeanie “Beverly” Lieflander in Fond du Lac. Bill was a member of the BCA and the Fond du Lac Pool League. He was a “Teddy Bear” to all who knew him and was willing to help anyone at anytime they needed it. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, and friend. He was proud to be a tissue donor and knowing that even in his death, he will still be helping people for years to come. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, being outdoors and doing such activities as: fishing, camping, hunting, photography, and boating. Bill’s favorite indoor activities included: watching TV, going to the casino, drawing, shooting pool, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to make people laugh and everyone who knew him knew he had the biggest heart in the world.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanie “Beverly”; three children, Stacy (Frank) Bonincontri, Jason Ebling, and Jackie “Bink” (Craig) Collier; five grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jonathan, Kylie, Carter, and Urban William; two siblings, Dave (Pamela) Ebling and Cindy Shell; two brothers-in-law, Jeff (Pat) Austin and Jim (Marty) Titel; sister-in-law, Tracy (Glenn) Thompson; six nieces, Hollie, Jenny, Anna, Andrea, Jenny, and Heather; three nephews, Joe, Tony, and Nick; and many more nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kevin and Donny; sister-in-law, Jodie; brother-in-law, Joel; and great niece, Ari.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with cremation following the service.
