William C. Meyers

William Colin Meyers, 33, of Rhinelander and St. Germain,WI, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1981 in Freeport, IL, the son of William Meyers and Carolyn Carter. In September of 2008 William married Beckie Birkholz in Ashland, WI. William was a chef at the Sportsman’s Café in Rhinelander. He loved cooking, his family and had a special rapport with animals.



He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Amara; his son, Chase; his mother, Carolyn Carter of St. Germain, WI; his father, William Meyers of Freeport, IL; his brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and JoAnne Marks of McHenry, IL; his sister, Bronwen Meyers of Freeport, IL; his maternal grandfather, Alfred Carter of McHenry, IL. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and paternal grandparents.



Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for William will be held in early April, 2015 in Freeport, IL.
