William D. Snyder

William D. Snyder, 66, of W 3573 Walnut Rd. died surrounded by his family on Friday, July 2, 2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. William was born March 26, 1938 in Fond du Lac, a son of William and Blanche Rahal Snyder. On December 29, 1956 he married Carole A. Meisenburg at Church of Peace.William worked for the Fond du Lac County Highway Dept. for 39 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his dogs, spending time with his family, and trips up north.Survivors include his wife; Carole of Fond du Lac, four children; Randy (Mary) Snyder of Fond ud Lac, Laurie (Tom) Ottery of Fond du Lac, Tracy (special friend Jim Kleinschmidt) of Fond du Lac, William "Bud" (Candy) Snyder of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren; Allen (Misty) Snyder of Fond du Lac, Katy (Edward) Flury of Oakfield, Sara Ottery of Chicago, Amy (Cory) Steinke of Oakfield, Jena Ottery of Fond du Lac, Abby Ottery of Fond du Lac, four great grandchildren; Hannah, Lexi, and Vanessa Flury and Deion Snyder, two brothers; Daniel Snyder and Rick (Betty) Snyder of Eden, one sister; Bonnie (Lyle) Krug of North Fond du Lac, special friends; Jackie Bothe and Kim Krueger, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Mr. Snyder will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 7 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Weikel and Rev. Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will follow on Wednesday morning at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The staff of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
