William F. "Bill" Smith

William F. "Bill" Smith, age 100, of North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on September 4, 1913. On September 13, 1947 he married Irene Raatz at the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on September 14, 1985. Bill worked for the railroad and then for Gibson's Chevrolet. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking.SURVIVORS: three children, William (Dede) Smith of Big Spring, TX, Arland Hoffman of Sun Prairie, WI, and Beverly Evenson of North Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, David (Jeanette) Dunn of Albertsville, AL, and Tammy Dunn of Forest Park, WA; two great-grandchildren, David and Nathan Dunn. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one sister and her husband, Joyce and Norman Kohnke.



At Bill's request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place. Burial of Bill's cremains will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.Additional information and guestbook can be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
