Mr. Wilson D. Snider, 86, of N6306 Esterbrook Road, Town of Fond du Lac, died Monday, October 17, 2005, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born October 22, 1918, in Fond du Lac, a son of Fred and Josephine Stratz Snider. On November 27, 1971, he married August "Dolly" Paulina Scandilli in Fond du Lac. Mr. Snider was formerly employed by Mercury Marine as a supervisor of building and grounds for 32 years, retiring in 1978.Surviving is his wife, Dolly, a daughter, Jeanne (Richard "Dick") Kollman of LeRoy, two sons, John (Sue) Snider, and Jerry (Mary) Snider both of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a step-son, Jackie (Sandy) Coppens of Marinette, WI, six step-grandchildren, and 14 step great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers, David Snider and Paul (Janet) Snider, both of Woodhull, three sisters, Margaret Schafer of Fond du Lac, Joan (Francis) Simon of Eldorado, and Mary (Floyd) Hanley of Thorpe, WI, and a very special niece and caregiver, Jacqueline Jackson of Fond du Lac. His parents, former wife, Virginia Schultz Snider who died March 14, 1996, and a brother, John, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Wilson D. Snider will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm, and on Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 9 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word services will be at 11 am on Thursday at the funeral home. Deacon Ricardo Munoz will officiate and burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
