Winnifred L. "Mickey" Hoey

Winnifred L. "Mickey" Hoey, 79, of 711 Bayshore Drive, Oshkosh, died Monday, November 08, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born July 17, 1931, in Cadott, Chippewa County, WI, the daughter of Lee and Lois Hutto Henderson. On July 24, 1948, she married Charles H. Hoey in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1986. Winnifred was a graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy. She was formerly employed by Taycheedah Correctional Institution for 22 years, retiring in 1983. She was a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital for several years. Surviving are two sons, Michael (Cindy) Hoey of San Antonio, TX, and Patrick Hoey of Fond du Lac, four daughters, Barbara (Roy) Seaton, Debra (Louie) Karschney, and Mary Jo Groesbeck, all of Fond du Lac, and Janet Baguio of San Antonio, TX. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, a son, James, a sister, Olivia Klemish, and her stepmother, Eugenia Beckman, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Winnifred L. "Mickey" Hoey will be on Saturday, November 13, 2010, from 9 AM to 12 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
