Woodrow Wilson “Woody” Boettcher Jr, died at the age of 73 at his home in Fond du Lac, WI, on April 14, 2017. Woody was born on June 22, 1943 in Milwaukee the son of Woodrow and Frances (Ochocki) Boettcher. Woody married Bette Boda on May 2, 1979 in Fond du Lac, WI. He worked at Northern Aluminum in North Fond du Lac for twenty-four years. He served in the United States Army from 1961-64 during the Vietnam War.
Woody enjoyed spending time with family and with his neighbors. He enjoyed watching and swearing at the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers.
Woody is survived by his wife, Bette; sons, Gary Boda, Ron (Jeanette) Boda; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brianna, Samantha, Ryan, Jordan, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ava and Emerson; his sisters, Jeanine and Deb of Texas; his brother, Dennis of LaCrosse; sisters-in-law, Robin, Delores, Karen (Leroy), and Diane (Glen); brother-in-law, John (Vicki); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Ed.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 12-2 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A time of sharing will take place at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
